| Alexander Yakovlev is a Sculptor, Model Maker and Mold Maker. He creates figure sculptures, wall sculpture, ornamental designs, architectural shapes, overlife size vases, fences, gates, fountains and various stage presentations. He works with clay, plaster, resin, concrete, marble, wood, bronze and other materials. Presently his work is on displays at various locations in New York, other states and cities around the world. The four Sport images, sculpt in 1994, stand in the center of Manhattan, at "Modells", on 42nd Street near Grand Central Terminal. He recently finished life size statue of Saint Antonio Abbate, and was selected by National Sculpture Society to participate in the annual exhibition to display new sport figures of a baseball player and a runner. |
