Alexander Yakovlev has been working for many years in clay, plaster, resin, concreate, marble, wood, bronze and other materials, creating figure sculptures, wall sculpture, ornamental designs, architectural shapes, overlife size vases, fences, gates, firescreen and various stage presentations. He makes sculptures and models that display at various locations in New York City, other states and cities around the world. His four sport images, sculpt in 1994, stand in the center of Manhatten, at "Modells", on 42nd Street and Grand Central Terminal. He recently finished a life size statue of Saint Antonio Abbate, and was selected by National Sculpture Society to particpate in the annual exhibition to dispaly new sport figures of a baseball player and runer. Alexander Yakovlev resides in New York City.
